Course Overview

Supervise Manufacturing Work for WSH | SMFWSH, formerly known as Basic Industrial Safety & Health Course for Supervisors | BISH Course is to enable the WSH Coordinator or Supervisor to acquire the knowledge and be equipped with the application skills to supervise WSH in the manufacturing industry.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:

  • The Knowledge and skills required of a WSH Coordinator or Supervisor to identify common safety & health hazards and take appropriate control measures while working in the metalworking or other manufacturing industries.

Prerequisites:

Before beginning this course, it’s essential to have the following:

  • Possess Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 and above, or equivalent

  • Methods for hazard identification
  • WSH control measures
  • 5S Housekeeping
  • Types of organizational WSH inspections
  • WSH training and promotional programmes
  • Incident Investigation and reporting
  • Permit-to-work (PTW) (Application)

Certifications Granted:
