Course Overview

The Problem Identification Level B Course | PILB equips participants with essential problem-solving skills, focusing on identifying and analyzing issues, proposing solutions, and evaluating their effectiveness. Ideal for those with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) experience, it covers key techniques like problem appraisal, root cause analysis, and logical deduction.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:

  • Identify key issues in problem situations to clearly articulate the problems at hand and propose contingency plans to resolve issues.
  • Classify problems and associated implications as well as provide recommendations to resolve issues at hand,

Prerequisites:

Before beginning this course, it’s essential to have the following:

  • ES WPLN Level 5 OR GCE ‘N’ Level English Grade 5 and Mathematics Grade 5
  • Possess WSH Skills and knowledge equivalent to that of a Certificate in WSH
  • Have at least 1 year of WSH-relevant working experience
