Course Overview

The Perform Work At Height course (PWAH), previously known as Work-At-Height course for Workers (WAH Workers), provides participants with essential knowledge and skills to safely perform work-at-height activities, covering WSH regulations, risk assessment, fall prevention, and safety procedures.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:

  • Gain the necessary knowledge to effectively manage work-at-height (WAH) activities.
  • Perform WAH tasks properly and safely in accordance with best practices and safety regulations.

Prerequisites:

Before beginning this course, it’s essential to have the following:

  • Work permit
  • IPA & Passport
  • NRIC / S Pass / Employment Pass.
  • Trainees must wear Safety Shoes and be properly attired (No Singlet/Shorts/Bermudas).

Learning Units:

  • Identify relevant workplace safety and health (WSH) Legislation/Approved codes of practice/ Singapore standards applicable to WAH and roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify WAH hazards and preventive measures related to WAH.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the use and care of the various fall arrest systems and equipment.

Certifications Granted:

WSQ (SOA) Statement of Attainment (e-certificate) will be issued for the courses conducted in English only.

This course equips participants who need to perform Work at Height in their jobs. It does not replace other industry-specific training, such as CSOC and MEWP training.

Only trainees with 100% attendance can sit for the test.

Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the class.
