Course Overview

Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Shipbuilding and Ship Repair, formerly known as, the Safety Instruction Course for Ship-Repair Manager, aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to co-ordinate safely all activities relating to the construction or repair of the ship.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped with:

Knowledge and skills to coordinate safely all activities relating to the construction or repair of the ship.

Prerequisites:

Before beginning this course, it’s essential to have the following:

Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy level 5.
Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES Workplace Numeracy level 5.
Learners must hold the position of Manager, Ship Repair Manager, Project Engineer, Superintendent, or equivalent post to be eligible to attend this course.
