About Us

Our Story​

Absolute Kinetics Consultancy Pte Ltd (AKC) started from one man and was founded by Engineer Fang Koh Look, in 2001. Our early business focus was on ISO Systems and Safety Consultancy services. Over the years, AKC had foreseen the potential opportunities and had evolved itself dynamically to suit the fast-changing markets. Since then it has diversified its businesses into Safety & Skills Training, and Property Investments. AKC’s business concepts capitalize on “One Stop Solutions Provider” to various customers or ecosystems.

AKC is an Accredited Training Provider approved by the Ministry of Manpower to conduct Workplace Safety and Health courses. In addition, AKC offers services including Approved Risk Consultant (ARC) services, bizSAFE services, CEI courses, SkillsFuture Singapore WSQ courses, Standard First Aid courses, and NRC Automated External Defibrillation courses.

AKC has improved its internal processes to enhance learner experiences and has obtained ISO 29990:2010 certification for Learning Services for Non-Formal Education and Training. This certification ensures the implementation of high-quality training programs, optimizes business processes, and maximizes organizational effectiveness.

Mr. Fang directs the company’s long- and short-term planning, manages its financial aspects, and drives organizational advancements. He offers leadership and strategic initiatives to maintain competitiveness while aligning with Public Policies and Company Values. With more than 30 years of management, consultancy, and training experience, he has also led in new business ventures and succession planning.

He holds a Master’s in Safety, Health & Environmental Technology from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers of Singapore and has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS.

In 2014, Mr. Fang received the Rotary Singapore – ASME “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” and the “Nanyang Alumni Achievement Award.” He chairs the College Advisory Committee for Anderson Serangoon Junior College and earned the “Service to Education Award (Silver)” from the Singapore Ministry of Education in 2024.

Mr. Tony Tang

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Tang in his capacity manages day to day operational matters and is responsible for all business activities in the organization. He is also the figurehead of the organization and interacts closely with external stakeholders. Mr. Tang is responsible in implementing and developing business strategies, formulating internal work processes and controls to ensure competence of the organization. Mr. Tang also acts as a direct liaison between board and management level and helms various departments in the organization. He is also a director in the training and management department; overseeing all training processes and its services provided by the organization.

Mr. Tang graduated with Bachelors of Science in General Management from the University of London, United Kingdom. He brings with him 20 years of general management and auditing experience.

Mr. Fang oversees the Business Development & Outreach divisions at AKC. He is responsible for driving business development and expansion in partnership with Whole-of-Government (WoG) agencies. Mr. Fang successfully spearheaded the acquisition and implementation of the national Top Executive WSH Programme (TEWP), overseeing its development from conception to deployment (within 3 months) for C-Suite executives in high-risk industries.

Directing a team of 10, Mr. Fang oversees the development of courses in AKC. His scope-of-work encompasses Technology-Enabled Learning (TEL), e-Learning / Micro-Learning, and developing new learner-centric programmes in WSH & other Industry-specific domains. He also leads outreach and digital marketing to build awareness & impact of the AKC brand.

Prior to joining AKC, Mr. Fang worked at MINDEF’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) Robotics division, overseeing the Ops-Tech partnership between SAF (Army & RSN) & OEMs to develop & deploy Robotics solutions in military environments.  For his contributions to MINDEF, he was commended with the MINDEF Exemplary Innovator Award (RSN Autonomous Load Transporter) & the SAF CSSCOM Commander Coin (Unmanned Security & Resupply using integrated C3 Sensors & COTS UGVs).

Mr. Fang holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (First Class Honours) from NTU. In recognition of his contributions to Industrial & Academia R&D in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Fang was conferred the title of NTU President Research Scholar by the university.

Mr. Chandramohan

Mr. Chandra have been in the safety and health industry for 11 years as Workplace Safety and Health Officer for industries such as construction( Including circle line and downtown line projects), marine, logistic and manufacturing sectors. Moreover, Mr. Chandra have handled various industries as Risk Management Consultant. Furthermore, Mr. Chandra have been safety and health trainer/curriculum developer for past 12 years with AKC. Mr. Chandra have 23 years of experience in workplace safety, health and training sectors.

Recently, Mr. Chandra have ventured into mental well-being landscape by involving in the development and training of mental well-being courses. Mr. Chandra is also the mental well-being officer for AKC and member of mental well-being champion network organised by Ministry of Manpower and WSH council.

Mr. Benny is a seasoned Learning and Development (L&D) specialist with over two decades of experience in the F&B, Retail, Training, Environmental Services, Hospitality and Workplace Safety and Health sectors. Mr. Benny expertise extends beyond traditional L&D roles, encompassing business development, compliance management, and even marketing and sales strategies.

Mr. Benny deep-rooted experience in the F&B sector, coupled with his expertise in operations excellence, gives him a unique perspective on L&D challenges and opportunities. Mr. Benny time in the industry has equipped him with a keen understanding of operational nuances, compliance requirements, and the specific training needs of F&B professionals. This invaluable knowledge allows him to design and deliver L&D programs that are both effective and relevant to the F&B industry, ensuring that employees are well-equipped to excel in their roles and contribute to the success of the organization.

Mr. Alvin Yap

Mr. Alvin Yap is responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources, General Administrative and corporate communication within the organization. He provides advice on compensation & benefits, manpower planning & recruitment, employee relations & communications, media relations, legal compliances and affairs, staff training & development, performance management system & its review, reward & recognition programs.

Mr. Yap holds a Bachelors of Psychology (Industrial & Organizational) from the University of Queensland (Australia). He brings with him 15 years of human resources and administrative management experience.

Mr. Kang Chong Sin

Head of Finance

BBA (Arkansas – USA)

Mr. Kang in his capacity oversees all financial matters within the organization. He provides leadership and advice on essential financial reporting functions in management reports, audits, tax, budgeting and financial/operational costing and controls. Mr. Kang manages all internal monetary performance and measures to ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations. He prepares short and long term financial forecasts for the organizations and develops financial policies and procedures to comply with statutory requirements. He is also a director in the customer service department; overseeing all client services provided by the organization.

Mr. Kang graduated with Bachelors in Business Administration from the Arkansas University in the United States. He brings with him 30 years of administration experience in management and customer service.
