Course Overview

This course is designed to equip participants with practical self-care practices to tackle emotionally challenging situations at the workplace, support staff well-being by recognizing burnout, and promote well-being through the application of coping mechanisms and organizational support systems.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:

  • Implement Effective Self-Care Practices to manage emotionally challenging situations in the workplace.
  • Recognize the Signs of Burnout and take proactive steps to support staff well-being.
  • Navigate Self-Care with Organizational Support to empower overall well-being and balance.
  • Apply Coping Mechanisms and Self-Care Strategies that foster a nurturing support system and enhance resilience.

Prerequisites

Assumed Skills and Knowledge:

  • WPLN- Level 5 or O levels or Diploma.

Learning Units:

  • Demonstrate emotional resilience by maintaining professional composure & applying self-care practices in demanding situations
  • Demonstrate awareness of burnout symptoms by identifying potential indicators in staff behavior and work performance
  • Develop a balanced approach to well-being by advising colleagues on self-care principles, effective practices, & available organizational support systems
  • Applying self-care strategies effectiveness, coping mechanisms for long-term stress, and utilizing emotional and practical support systems within the organization for enhancing mental well-being

Target Audience: WSHO/Managers/Line Leaders who are keen on the development of a mental well-being plan for the organization
Course Language: English, Course Duration: 8 Hours (including 45 mins assessment), 9 AM to 6 PM.
Assessment format and Duration: Written Assessment (15 min), Case Study (30 min).
Passing Criteria – 100% Marks. 100% Attendance is required. Max. class size: 20 Pax.
