Course Overview

This course is designed to help participants understand and manage stress by applying effective coping strategies and building resilience through proactive self-care. Learners will be equipped with the tools to identify their strengths and weaknesses, develop personalized coping strategies, and reframe negative experiences to reduce stress. The course provides practical techniques to foster emotional well-being and utilize organizational resources for long-term resilience.

  • Understanding stress & applying effective coping strategies
  • Building Resilience with Proactive Self-Care & Resources within Your organization
  • Identifying one’s strengths and weaknesses to develop coping strategies for handling stressful situations

Prerequisites

Assumed Skills and Knowledge:

  • WPLN- Level 5 or O levels or Diploma.

Learning Units:

  • Apply coping strategies based on identified stressors to mitigate or regulate stress
  • Exercise proactive self-care with an emotional support system and resources within the organisation
  • Demonstrate self-care resilience by conducting self-assessments, developing self-care plans using prescribed procedures, and employing coping strategies to manage stress
  • Reframing negative experiences to mitigate or regulate stress levels

Assessment format and Duration: Written Assessment (30 min), Presentation (15 min).
Passing Criteria – 100% Marks. 100% Attendance is required. Max. class size: 20 Pax.
