Safety Orientation Course Tunnelling for Workers

Course Overview

Safety Orientation Course Tunnelling for Workers trains participants to identify hazards and prevent injuries in tunnels. The course is also for all workers carrying out tunneling works in buildings and engineering construction worksites.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Understand general safety in Tunnelling Works
  • Identify hazards working in a Tunnel
  • Practice safety procedures when operating Tunnelling Equipment and Machinery
  • Able to work safely in Confined Spaces
  • Practice Safety procedures when doing Hot Work and working in Compressed Air
  • Competent in wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Know the dangers and precautionary measures associated with Tunneling Works

Prerequisites:

Before beginning this course, it’s essential to have the following:

  • Participants must have attended and passed the Construction Safety Orientation Course for Workers (General Trade) before attending this course.

100% attendance is required. Latecomers are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED into the class.

Additional Details:

All workers must undergo a Safety Orientation Course (Tunneling) before they are allowed to work in tunnels.
