Course Overview

This Perform Metal Scaffold Erection Course (PMSE), previously known as Metal Scaffold Erection Course (MSEC) equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills to safely and properly erect and dismantle metal scaffolds in the construction industry. The course ensures that learners can perform these activities in compliance with legislative guidelines and statutory requirements.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:

  • Erect and dismantle metal scaffolds in accordance with the legislative guidelines and statutory requirements.

Prerequisites:

Before beginning this course, it’s essential to have the following:

  • Participants are required to wear their safety boots for the practical sessions.
  • Only the trainees with 100% Attendance will be allowed to sit for the test.

  • Requirements for Ties and Braces
  • Static and Mobile Tower Scaffolds
  • Safety in Erection and Dismantling of Modular Scaffolds
  • Rules and Regulations in Erection and Dismantling
  • Erection and Dismantling of Scaffolds (Safe Work Procedures)
    • Frame Scaffold
    • Tubular Independent Tied Scaffold
    • Tower Scaffold
    • Modular Scaffold

Certifications Granted:

WSQ (SOA) Statement of Attainment (e-certificate) will be issued for the courses conducted in English only.
