This Washroom Maintenance (Level 1) course is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills required to efficiently manage daily washroom cleaning and maintenance tasks in the environmental services industry. It includes preparing for work, removing dust and debris, and reinstating the work area, ensuring proper hygiene standards are met.
By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:
Applicants should preferably:
Be above 18 years of age;
Able to speak, listen, and read English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPL) 2.
Secondary or lower education
Minimum 3 months of relevant work experience

Course Duration: 12 Hours (including 1 hour assessment). 100% Attendance is required.
Assessment Format & Duration:
Practical Performance –50 mins, Oral Questioning: 10 mins for each participant.
Passing criteria: Practical and Oral assessment – 100%
